Volunteer eligibility & safety
- Roles are coordinated from the Nairobi and Nyeri offices. There is no walk-up field placement.
- Fence attendant recruitment is typically from forest-adjacent communities.
- Safety, eligibility and any child-safeguarding rules are confirmed before a placement is offered.
- Email info@rhinoark.or.ke with the role you can offer. Do not travel to a fence line uninvited.

Rhino Charge
Since 1989, off-road teams have raced the Rhino Charge to raise KES 2.8 billion for fences, patrols and communities on Kenya’s water towers. Organisers pick new venues each year under strict leave-no-trace rules, including sorted refuse and recycling.
